The super sticky backing stops the forms from popping open and keeps them securely adhered to the skin for a good tight fit, reducing the chance of acrylic seepage. Last but not least...the guidelines help with the tailoring of the forms, so when you make your cuts you know they are at the right angle for that perfect fit.
