This is a completely normal, temporary reaction that occasionally happens to highly vibrant shades containing fluorescent elements. When these specialised pigments are exposed to the intense UV/LED light needed for curing, they undergo a rapid molecular shift. The Science Behind the Shade

For the nail techs (or clients) who love the details, this phenomenon is rooted in photochromism and electron excitation.  Fluorescent pigments work by absorbing invisible UV light and instantly re-emitting it as bright, visible light. However, the high-intensity UV wavelengths from a curing lamp temporarily overload the pigment molecules, forcing them into an excited, altered structural state that appears darker or uneven.

As the gel cools and the molecules gradually return to their ground state, they regain their standard light-reflecting properties.
